NOT THAT IT MATTERS...

I'm going to keep this simple. Two days ago I told a friend of mine a fact. I pay little attention to politics nowadays, but my common sense always guides me towards the truth. Romney vs. Obama means we get a new President. Gingrich vs. Obama means Obama gets four more years. Guaranteed. My friend disagreed. Did you see today's polls? Will the Republican party blow this easy to win election by making a mistake and nominating Gingrich? It's not about Newt's policies. It's about his indiscretions. Newt would lose in a face-off because he would get more liberals to come out and vote against him. Romney will keep apathetic Democrats at home on election day...but nominate Newt if you want to prove a point. Have fun with four more years of Obama.

Not to mention Newt is the biggest Flip-Flopper since Kerry. Federal takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac happened on Newt's watch as lobbyist. Gingrich only became outspoken after the market collapsed.

Flip: "Personal responsibility extends to the purchase of health insurance. Citizens should not be able to cheat their neighbors by not buying insurance, particularly when they can afford it, and expect others to pay for their care when they need it." — June 2007
Flop: "I am against any effort to impose a federal mandate on anyone because it is fundamentally wrong and I believe unconstitutional." — May 16, 2011

Cap-and-Trade:

Flip: "I think if you have mandatory carbon caps combined with a trading system, much like we did with sulfur, and if you have a tax-incentive program for investing in the solutions, that there’s a package there that’s very, very good. And frankly, it’s something I would strongly support.” — February 2, 2007
Flop: "A carbon cap and trade system ... would lead to corruption, political favoritism, and would have a huge impact on the economy." — April 21, 2008

Climate Change:

Flip: "I think is that the evidence is sufficient that we should move towards the most effective possible steps to reduce carbon-loading of the atmosphere." — April 10, 2007
Flop: “I actually don’t know whether global warming is occurring." — November 8, 2011

Interesting.

They are still ALL THE SAME and they ALL suck! All of them no longer "lead" anything.
They all are failures, whether they're two-faced or full of empty and unfulfilled promises.
No future.
